What the program does
Heartship is a daily check-in for two people in a relationship. The program sends a 6-digit sign-in code, an invite message to a partner, an account notification about the trial or the subscription, and a daily reminder to log the day. No promotional message goes out on this program.
How a person opts in
A person types a mobile number on the Heartship signup form and checks the consent box under the field. The box is never checked in advance. Nothing on the form fills the number automatically, and the purchase completes without a number.
An invited partner enters a mobile number and checks the same box on the invite acceptance screen.
Consent text on the form
By entering your mobile number and checking this box you agree to receive sign-in codes, invite messages, and account notifications from Heartship by text message. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop and HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy and Terms.
Message types and samples
Message frequency
Message frequency varies. A sign-in code goes out only after a person requests one, at most 3 in 15 minutes across text and email. An invite goes out once, with one resend at the sender's request. A daily reminder goes out at most once a day, and only for a person who picks the text channel in settings. The channel starts off, and a person turns it on inside the app.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for a delayed or an undelivered message.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any Heartship message. One confirmation follows and no further message goes to that number. STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT all work. Reply START to begin again. A person can also turn the text channel off in the app settings.
How to get help
Reply HELP to any Heartship message. The reply carries the program name and the support address. Write to help@heartship.app for anything the reply does not answer.
Privacy
Mobile numbers and text consent are never sold, and never handed to a third party for that party's marketing. Twilio delivers the messages and runs the line-type lookup. The privacy policy holds the rest.
