Terms of Service

These terms cover Heartship, operated by Big Sky Little Acorn, LLC, 780 W FM 1626, #1057, Manchaca, TX 78652. Using Heartship accepts them.

What Heartship is

Heartship is a daily log for two people in a relationship. Heartship is not therapy, not medical care, and not a crisis service. In the United States, call 911 for an emergency, or call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.

Eligibility

An account holder must be at least 18 years old and must reside in the United States.

Accounts

An account exists from a purchase or from an accepted invite. No other route creates one. Sign-in is a 6-digit code delivered by text and by email, and no password exists. Keep the mobile number and the mailbox under your own control. Tell help@heartship.app about any use of the account you did not authorize.

The subscription

• One plan covers the couple: $19.99 a month, or $199.90 a year.
• Billing goes to the purchaser. The partner pays nothing and never sees a price.
• The card is entered at purchase through Stripe. Stripe holds the card number.
• The subscription starts on the day the bond activates, with a 7-day trial from that day. The purchaser gets a notice that day by push, text, and email.
• Without a bond there is no subscription and no charge.
• Charges renew each month, or each year on the yearly plan, until a cancellation.
• Cancel any time from the account page. Access runs to the end of the paid period. The bond stays. Logging locks until a subscription is active again.
• A cancellation stops the next charge. Big Sky Little Acorn, LLC issues no refund for a period already paid.
• Price changes reach account holders by email 30 days ahead of the next renewal.

Your writing

You own the words you type. Big Sky Little Acorn, LLC stores those words and runs the features you use, including the nightly analysis. A partner reads only what the privacy policy lists. Big Sky Little Acorn, LLC claims no ownership of your writing and publishes none of it.

Acceptable use

Do not use Heartship to harass a person, to break a law, to reach another person's account, or to probe the service for a weakness. Do not resell access.

Text messages

A text goes only to a number entered on the signup form with the consent box checked. Reply STOP to stop. Reply HELP for help. The SMS program page carries the full disclosure.

Ending an account

Delete the account at any time from the account page. Big Sky Little Acorn, LLC may close an account that breaks these terms, and refunds the unused portion of the current period when it does.

Disclaimer

Heartship is provided as is. Big Sky Little Acorn, LLC gives no warranty that the service runs without interruption, and gives no warranty that the psychological profile, the reminder lines, or the period analyses are accurate. Those readings come from a language model and carry the errors of one. Treat them as prompts for a conversation, and take a clinical question to a licensed professional.

Limit of liability

Liability to a subscriber is capped at the amount that subscriber paid Big Sky Little Acorn, LLC in the 12 months before the claim. Big Sky Little Acorn, LLC carries no liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing law

Texas law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict of law rules. The state and federal courts sitting in Texas hear any dispute.

Changes

Big Sky Little Acorn, LLC dates every version of the terms. Material changes go to account holders by email 30 days in advance.
